Native Pollinator Garden Installation in Flourtown, PA
Project Overview
Keystone Permaculture transformed this lawn in Flourtown, PA, that had no native plants, was sparse, and devoid of wildlife, into a vibrant native pollinator garden.
This client was very pleased with the beautiful garden full of blooms from spring to fall, with pollinators and birds everywhere. This project was completed in the fall of 2025, and Keystone Permaculture continues to provide seasonal maintenance.
The Challenge
Prior to the native garden installation, the backyard consisted of sparse grass and non-native plants, which were of little to no value for birds and pollinators. This client wanted to create a colorful, full yard that brought life and ecological value to the space.
The main challenge during this project was to keep the aggressive invasive plants from spreading beneath the neighboring fence. Keystone Permaculture addressed the invasive plant pressure to ensure they wouldn't encroach on the newly planted garden.
